Kealey & Tackaberry Log Homes is a family operated business situated in Pakenham, Ontario just 40km West of Ottawa between Arnprior and Carleton Place. We supply & build complete handcrafted and milled log homes. With the use of natural, non-manufactured materials, the homes we build are virtually free of toxins normally associated with new construction and thus provide excellent indoor air quality.

Why log?

Trees are a symbol of us as Canadians & a preservation of our heritage. Canada has 12% of the world’s forest cover, 90% is Crown Owned, & no more then ¼ of 1% of the forest is allowed to be harvested each year. (Canadian wood Council, www.cwc.ca)

We have the largest and best managed forest system in the world. On average, most of our trees reach maturity between 150-200 years. With modern re-planting efforts, we are presently on track for there to be more trees in 100 years than there is now.
